Tesla Grok Is Live in Israel and the UAE on 2026.32.6+
Grok is live for Teslas in Israel and the UAE that have an AMD infotainment processor, Premium Connectivity or Wi-Fi, and software 2026.32.6 or later. Tesla wrote that floor on its Israel, UAE, and Qatar Grok support pages. A Tesla UAE press release dated September 17, 2026 says 2026.32.6 started rolling in the Emirates that day on eligible Model S, 3, X, Y, and Cybertruck, with no separate Grok fee. Owners in Israel and the UAE are now reporting Grok in their cars after installing 2026.32.7, so it is still reaching cars in waves.
This is not a North America story. U.S. Tesla Support still lists Grok from software 2025.26. The new number is on the regional pages.
What Tesla published
Tesla’s Israel, UAE, and Qatar Grok support pages list the same three gates:
- An AMD processor
- Vehicle software 2026.32.6 or later
- Premium Connectivity or a Wi-Fi connection
All three pages mark Grok as beta. All three say a Grok account or Grok subscription is not required to turn it on in the car at this time. All three say availability can change or end at any time. Tesla’s Saudi Arabia and Jordan Grok pages carry the same 2026.32.6 floor.
The Tesla press release carried on Zawya on September 17 opens:
“Today, September 17, Tesla began rolling out Grok in the UAE. The AI companion is included in Tesla’s latest software version 2026.32.6, which has started rolling out to eligible vehicles – free of charge.”
The same release names eligible Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y, and Cybertruck, and says owners need a Premium Connectivity subscription or a stable Wi-Fi connection. It describes conversations as anonymous to Tesla and not associated with the vehicle.
Tesla’s U.S. Grok page (tesla.com/support/grok) still says software 2025.26 or later. Do not copy that number onto an Israel, Qatar, or UAE car.
Which build actually turns it on
Tesla’s pages say 2026.32.6 or later, but the build owners are actually receiving is 2026.32.7. The public install trackers TeslaFi and Teslascope show no 2026.32.6 installs, and Not a Tesla App reported on September 20 that 2026.32.6 had not reached the public yet.
Update 2026.32.7 started going out on September 23. On September 27, Not a Tesla App reported that owners in Israel and the UAE confirmed Grok is live after installing it. Teslascope has logged 2026.32.7 installs in the UAE and Qatar. Tesla’s release notes for 2026.32.7 add no new Grok entry, so do not wait for a Grok line in the notes.
What you do in the car
Check these in order, then launch Grok:
- Open Controls → Software and confirm the car is on 2026.32.6 or later, which for most owners right now means 2026.32.7.
- Open Controls → Software → Additional Vehicle Information and confirm the infotainment processor is AMD. Tesla’s pages require AMD, so Intel Atom cars are not on the list.
- Confirm Premium Connectivity is active, or park on stable Wi-Fi. Tesla says Grok will not run without one of the two.
- Open App Launcher → Grok, or press and hold the steering-wheel microphone button. To use “Hey Grok,” turn on voice activation under Controls → Audio → Grok Settings.
- Set the personality to Assistant for vehicle commands. Tesla’s release notes tie navigation, calls, music, climate, and Controls-panel search to the Assistant setting.
Tesla’s support pages also say that if you are not signed into a Grok account, use is limited and the car will tell you when you need to sign in to continue. Limits can change.
What we are not claiming
Parts of this rollout are still unconfirmed, so here is where we draw the line:
- We are not claiming Grok is live in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, or Morocco. Tesla’s pages for the first three list the 2026.32.6 floor, and Tesla Europe, Middle East & Africa posted “Now rolling out in the Middle East & Morocco” on X on September 16 without naming countries.
- We are not claiming a price for Grok in the car. Tesla’s pages say no Grok account or subscription is required at this time.
- We are not treating Teslascope install counts as Tesla delivery numbers.
- We are not calling Grok finished. Tesla still labels it beta.
