You do have to drop the dash to tap the factory ...accent plug. That video is linked below. This one is the console strips, the 4-pin vs 5-pin harness, and the part the kit does not tell you: the strip will not stay in the seam without extra 3M tape.
Fits 2024+ Cybertruck, all trims. White interior on this truck.
What I cover:
• Drop the dash first (required)
• 4-pin vs 5-pin module
• Opaque side out, wire to the rear
• Seating the strip in the console seam
• Extra 3M — kit tape is not enough
• Sits about 1/4 cm proud, does not rub the seat
• Wires run down BOTH sides of the sill (not the one-side method)
• Rear console connect and hide
• Screen sync + music pulse
