NVIDIA beat Wall Street on fiscal Q2 2027 and raised the bar again. Revenue was $96.2 billion for the quarter ended July 26, 2026, up 18 percent from last quarter and up 106 percent from a year ago. Non-GAAP earnings were $2.22 a share versus a $2.10 Street estimate. The company guided fiscal Q3 revenue to $108.0 billi

The beat, in dollars

The official release is NVIDIA Announces Financial Results for Second Quarter Fiscal 2027 (https://nvidianews.nvidia.com/news/nvidia-announces-financial-results-for-second-quarter-fiscal-2027). Data Center did $89.0 billion, up 18 percent sequentially and up 117 percent year over year. That is 92 percent of the quarter. Edge Computing was $7.2 billion, up 13 percent sequentially and up 27 percent year over year.

GAAP and non-GAAP gross margin both landed at 75.0 percent. GAAP net income was $59.7 billion, or $2.46 a diluted share. Non-GAAP net income was $54.0 billion, or $2.22 a diluted share. GAAP net income includes equity-investment gains. Non-GAAP strips those out.

CNBC, citing LSEG, had Street at $92.17 billion of revenue and $2.10 of adjusted EPS. NVIDIA cleared both. The $108.0 billion Q3 guide sits above the $104.2 billion guide Wall Street had modeled. NVIDIA is not assuming any Data Center compute revenue from China in that outlook.

CFO Colette Kress, on the analyst call reported by CNBC, said NVIDIA expects fiscal 2028 revenue growth of 70 percent. Analysts had been at 44 percent. She said customer forecasts "point to our growth doubling next year," and that the printed guide reflects supply constraints. Confirm that 70 percent line against her written commentary on investor.nvidia.com (https://investor.nvidia.com) before you treat it as locked.

What is walking down

Gross margin stays high and starts to slip. Q3 GAAP and non-GAAP gross margin is guided to 74.0 percent, plus or minus 50 basis points. CNBC reported Kress saying margin bottoms in fiscal Q4 in a 71 to 72 percent range, in part on memory prices: “Memory scarcity today is being driven in large part by the AI buildout itself.” Treat the Q4 range as a call quote until it is in the written CFO note.

NVIDIA returned about $26.0 billion to shareholders in buybacks and dividends this quarter. About $99.0 billion remains on the repurchase authorization. The next cash dividend is $0.25 a share on October 1, 2026, to holders of record September 10, 2026.

CEO Jensen Huang said Vera Rubin is now in full production. The release names racks running at CoreWeave, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and Nebius.

What the quarter actually printed

Here is the official scorecard, from NVIDIA’s August 26 release:

Revenue: $96.221 billion. Last quarter $81.615 billion. Year ago $46.743 billion.

Data Center: $89.0 billion, up 18 percent quarter over quarter and 117 percent year over year.

Edge Computing: $7.2 billion, up 13 percent quarter over quarter and 27 percent year over year.

GAAP diluted EPS: $2.46. Non-GAAP diluted EPS: $2.22.

GAAP net income: $59.688 billion. Non-GAAP net income: $53.954 billion.

Gross margin: 75.0 percent GAAP and non-GAAP.

Q3 guide: $108.0 billion plus or minus 2 percent. No China Data Center compute in the outlook.

Q3 margin guide: 74.0 percent plus or minus 50 basis points, GAAP and non-GAAP.

What to do

If you are reading this for the trade, use the official print and the Q3 guide. Everything else is color:

1. Read the August 26 NVIDIA release first. Use $96.2 billion of revenue, $89.0 billion of Data Center, and the $108.0 billion Q3 guide.

2. Separate GAAP $2.46 EPS from non-GAAP $2.22 EPS. Do not quote one as the other.

3. Treat the 70 percent fiscal 2028 growth line and the 71 to 72 percent Q4 margin floor as call comments until they are in Kress's written note.
